The business plan. What type of entrepreneur are you?
A business plan is a
basis for starting your company. For expanding or, for example, restarting
existing companies, it is often decided to write a business plan first. In this
plan, you describe the most important matters relating to your company,
including, for example, finances and risks. But what is at least as important
is the entrepreneur himself. We often find the (characteristic) characteristics
of the entrepreneur in the way a company is run. But what type of entrepreneur
are you really?
Start with yourself
The first part of your business plan consists of describing
the entrepreneur, or the inventor, initiator. In most cases, this is you. It
is, therefore, important to determine what kind of entrepreneur you are. In
other words, find out for yourself what type of entrepreneur you are.
The hunters
The hunters are a type of entrepreneurs who are very driven
in what they do; they are real pioneers. This type of entrepreneur is always
enthusiastically looking for opportunities and is therefore determined to take
action on them. Hunters are also known to value status and success.
The Experts
This type of entrepreneur has a great need to distinguish
himself from the rest. Experts have a great deal of knowledge of their products
and the market and are driven to excel in this. By continuing to innovate and
develop, the company stays up to date. Experts find it more difficult to
outsource work and prefer to solve problems themselves.
The pragmatists
Pragmatists are generally open to innovation, but only when
the trend has been set for them. This type of entrepreneur feels emotionally
connected to the company, has a 'heart for the business and has a no-nonsense
attitude.
The Guardians
Guardians, like pragmatists, are often trend-following
rather than trend-setting. They attach great value to norms and values and
are often somewhat conservative. This type of entrepreneur often finds it
difficult to deal with the company's and its employees' responsibilities.
The developers
'Thinking in solutions, not in problems. That is how we can
describe this type of entrepreneur. Developers are real thinkers of the future
and are often self-motivated. They enjoy their work and get a lot out of their
social network.
The loners
In contrast to the hunters, loners attach less value to
status and earn a lot of money. This conservative type is very fond of his
freedom and prefers to avoid risks.
